"WE HAVE A LOVE CONNECTION!"

Yesterday was a beautiful, sunny Sunday afternoon; one of those afternoons that brought out throngs of people to enjoy the wonderful spring weather. It was a day that usually brings out the best in people. You know what they say, springtime is for lovers, and at Third and Long, that saying certainly held true, thanks to yours truly.....

Where do I begin? Well, sometime during the mid-afternoon, I got a visit from Mr. Good Samariatan, who wanted to check out some of the NASCAR racing and to basically get out of the apartment for awhile. A short time later, we were graced by the presence of The Abbott, another Sunday NASCAR fan. He began to share with us his events of the day, which if memory serves me correct, included a morning jog, a participatory stroll in the MS Walk, then brunch downtown, which led to yet another stroll up 3rd Avenue with Third and Long as his eventual finishing point.... The Abbott was going on and on until we were graced again by the presence of....you guessed it: MADAME X. Now I usually let doll baby sit by herself and co-exist in her own mind, but for some reason, I decided that today I would stir things up a bit. At this point, the Good Samariatan leaves....and boy did he miss a show!

I first asked the Madame how she was doing, to which she said fine. The Abbott decided to chime in and asked her where she'd been; that he hadn't seen her in awhile..... I saw that as my opening to torture my little friend, so of course, I chimed in: "Oh yeah, he's been asking about you a lot lately; he said that he missed having you around!" She began to blush and said "Really? I miss him too....". The Abbott gave me that screw-face look as if I'd taken his last jelly donut. I then chimed in again " you know, he really likes you- he's just a bit shy"...... To which she went on a bit of a rant about how she was really shy as well, even if she didn't show it on the outside. I then told her about how he was shy in public but really a wild man in the bedroom- she smiled and said she was wild in the bedroom as well....the whole thing started to get bizzare after that.

I'd go and serve another customer, only to come back and witness The Abbott sticking his ass towards the Madame and asking her to feel it. She immediately obliged and grabbed his ass and commented on how firm it was. We were all laughing and such because it look as if she was really getting a kick out of him. The highlight of all of this came when The Abbott invited the Madame to sit on his lap and she obliged by sitting on his lap! The Abbott left soon after that and the Madame really looked sad to see him go after that. She stared out at the door longingly for a few minutes until she eventually went back into her own world.

Aside from that, the day went pretty well. I met quite a few really cool tourists- it seems that I meet all of the tourists on Sunday. I met a cute couple from Canada; another really cool girl and her dad from Australia. A couple of nice gents from London. All really nice people.

The worst part of the day? To be honest, the worst part of the day was having to be inside on such a beautiful day...it's rather difficult watching beautiful women walk by all day long and all you can do is gawk.

DOLLAR DRAFTS TONITE
- What more needs to be said? Oh, and if any of you folks run into the ABBOTT, give him a hi-five on his new love conquest. I think it's the real thing!
