"BIG BROTHER'S WATCHING?"

Recently i've come across various articles and newscast about the state of blogging and how much it has grown over the past year or so. As the number of people who blog grows, so does the number of incidents where people are losing their jobs over them. There's the incident of the stewardess of Delta Air Lines who was fired because her blog contained pics of her in her uniform and her comments about her job. Then there's the former employee of Google who was canned because he spoke about incidents at his place of employ. And you are hearing more and more of instances such as these. At some point, one has to wonder how long will it be before the SWANFATHER gets that dreaded tap on his shouulder from the powers that be (BIG BROTHER), telling him to "shut it down or else"? Now as far as I know, while I report the day to day antics of the bar and the neighborhood, I don't think I do/say anything to disparage the reputation of the bar or it's owners. And the owners have been great with the blog; I'm pretty sure they get a kick out of what I post. Most of what I report is of good natured fun. But one can't help but to wonder what's lurking around the corner.... NUFF SAID on that.

It's Tuesday so that means that my post today will be short and sweet as I have to do another double shift. DOLLAR DRAFT MADNESS continues today...$1 Bud/Bud Light Mugs from 4pm-Close. And to sweeten the pot, we're adding a couple of other selections today: Killian's Red, Fosters and Michelob Ultra. So stop by and partake in the sloshfest!
