HEY, WHO'S THAT?

That would be the sentence frequently used last night as we had what could be called "Guest Bartender Night". We went through four guest bartenders throughout the night. To tell you who was who would have required a manual. There were at least two firemen (including a rather buxom auburn-haired female fireman...er..firewoman..um..fireperson...whatever), and a cute blonde from Brooklyn. I have to first say that I always get nervous when we bring in guest bartenders; sure they can bring in a crowd and inject new life on a regular night. More often than not, however, they tend to be more trouble than anything else because they usually don't know what they are doing behind the bar, thus causing a myriad of headaches during the night and at the end of the night, when you are trying to sort out receipts. In this case, however, the guest bartenders were pretty good on all accounts- and imagine my surprise at the end of the night when we were pretty much spot-on with the registers. Gotta love that! There were a couple of potentials who could make fine additions to the bar staff....i'll have to think about that.

If you notice from the pictures below, there was a lot of partying going on last night. Some people had more energy than others..... I'll leave it at that.

BTW, I bumped into our own MADAME X yesterday.....let's just say she's sporting a new look....interesting would be an understatement. Bless her heart.

Also, my moles tell me we had a surprise visitor on Wednesday night: the mysterious LE SYNGE BLEU graced us with her presence.... too bad I missed her- I would have loved to have finally met her!
