IT MUSTA BEEN A GOOD NIGHT....
Last night I had the night off but from the way the bar looked this morning, it looked like it was a good night. H.B.E. confirmed it for me when I spoke to him, so maybe I should take the night off more often. There was a mini-reunion of sorts as M. Grimaldi stopped by; He used to work as a doorman here years ago and left to become a teacher. His old man plays one of the mobsters in "THE SOPRANOS". A real class act. I happened to see him as I was talking to H.B.E. from my window. It was during my conversation with him and H.B.E. that I noticed how busy the bar was. Not bad for a Wednesday. We also had a guest bartender working with D-MAC; a nice blonde actress who's a friend of MASTER THESPIAN. I think I'll call her MARYLYN MONROE. I stopped by to see her earlier in the evening and she seemed to be adjusting pretty well to the pace of the bar. H.B.E. seemed to be impressed with her as well. I guess we'll have to have her back.
It's Thursday and that means it's the After-Work Happy Hour. Due to popular demand, the After-Work Happy Hour is now known as the AFTER-WORK ALL-NITE HAPPY HOUR, as the $4 Coronas/Michelob Light/ Sangria/Margaritas will flow all night long (or until we run out)! Fun starts at 5pm!
