THE ICEMAN COMETH?
It's Monday, the beginning of a new week; as a matter of fact, it's also the beginning of the dog days of August. So like everyone else who comes to work after a nice relaxing weekend- I get smacked with a dose of reality. My dear old friend, the ice machine had decided to go on the fritz...again. I found myself spending a lot of quality time with Igor the Ice Machine last week when he decided to go on strike in the middle of the hottest stretch of days we had all summer. Once the heatwave broke, Igor decided to step off of his strike and resume working. Now it seems that he may have gotten a phone call from AL ROKER over the weekend because just when we're about to get hit with another heatwave.... BAM! Our friend Igor is back on strike. This time I'm ready for Mr. Ice Machine because my repairman is back from vacation and he is coming by this afternoon to take hold of the situation once and for all. Hopefully this will mean the end of quality time with Igor.
