It seems that the article I posted on DINNER WHORES has struck a chord with a lot of the readers. I've seen some positive and negative views on the subject and the fact that it's actually sparked some debate amongst the folks is good stuff. Keep the feedback coming; it's interesting to see what people have to say.
As for tomorrow.... CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY has finally arrived! Game #1 features the PITTSBURGH STEELERS vs the DENVER BRONCOS (3pm). I predict that this game will be a hard-fought defensive battle, with the road team scratching out a hard-fought victory (PITTSBURGH 17, DENVER 13).
The second game features SEATTLE SEAHAWKS vs CAROLINA PANTHERS. For some reason, SEATTLE doesn't impress me, despite having the best RB in the league. My gut feeling says CAROLINA wins this one, 24-14.
My moles tell me that there will be a big turnout for the games, so I encourage everyone to dress up in their team colors; painit your faces, wear your wigs, bring your JOHN 3:16 signs, whatever it takes to add to the competitive edge. I am offering a $20 drink tab for the person with the best costume. Get there early to get a good spot.
