WHAT A KICK-ASS HAPPY HOUR!

Imagine my surprise when I walked into the bar at my usual time and found the place teeming with after-work patrons, having a full-out blast. I'd called MEAN GENE a half hour earlier to check on him and he said that everything was fine. I guess that was before the wave of customers blew into the bar. The reason for the rather busy evening? I'm not quite sure, but I think some of it had to do with someone's birthday. In any case, what started out as a typical gathering of a few mates for someone's birthday, turned into a long night of revelry, with the large contingent staying until well past midnight. A very good night indeed.
