SINGLES UNITED!

Last night we hosted our Annual ANTI-Valentine's Night Party, for those single folks who are usually left out in the cold on Valentine's Day. The night itself started out slowly, with a few small groups of people mingling amongst themselves. At around 9pm, the bar began to fill up with throngs of people, primarily women; Not so much looking for love, but more to just forget about the day and to have a good time. The guys who were there looking to mingle and have a good time seem to do just that. In all, there was a lot of mingling and dancing and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.



The bar also had an "expanded" version of DOLLAR DRAFT MADNESS to include all domestic drafts (as opposed to just Bud & Bud Light) and that seemed to go over pretty well. We had a special guest appearance from MASTER THESPIAN behind the bar and a few of the regulars (such as ANGEL, the shop-a-holic, prepping for her trip to ENGLAND, and AMERICAN PSYCHO looking like the rock star that he is) popped in as well. Overall, I'd say it was a pretty good night.




Of course, the night wouldn't be complete without me frowning up on a fashion faux-pas or two. Laat night's fashion gripe for me were those god-awful neon-colored rain boots that the "STEPFORD WIVES of MURRAY HILL" are fawning over these days. Whenever I see a pair on someone, I cringe. Last night was no exception. They are the female version of the Striped Shirt. Ladies, a word of advice: Get some originality... please.



LADIES NIGHT tonight with $3 MOLSON CANADIAN, MOLSON TRIPLE X, COORS LIGHT and BLUE MOON ALE and $3 mugs of MARGARITAS from 6-10pm. Catch all of the action of the OLYMPICS or simply chill out with your friends!
