Last night we were graced with the presence of a group of guys i'll call THE BUFFALO ENTOURAGE. Every year at this time, these guys make their annual pilgrimage to NYC from Buffalo, NY for the Big East Tournament. Whenever they come to NYC, these guys PARTY HARD! They always stay at the same hotel, eat at the same restaurants and spend most of their time at THIRD and LONG. The funny thing about these guys is that although they always have tickets for the games, they almost never go, preferring to spend their time at the bar and having a good time among themselves and meeting new people. They are a fun bunch of guys and whenever I see them, I know that spring isn't too far behind.
Later in the evening I received a surprise visit from LITTLE BRITAIN, who recently moved back to London just over three weeks ago. He stopped by to say that he'll be in town for about a week (work-related) and that he was looking to get together for dinner sometime next week. He misses everyone here and is excited to be back, if only for a short while. I look forward to hanging out with him during his time here.
I also got confirmation from my cute friend from Canada that she will be in the Big Apple next week for some photo shoots. We've tentatively set up plans for lunch one day next week, so if you are lucky, you'll get to meet her in the flesh. A pretty cool chick if I do say so myself!
In all, it was a pretty good night and with the hint of spring in the air, I anticipate Friday to be just as good, if not better.
Today is our famous AFTER-WORK HAPPY HOUR (5pm-9pm), with $3 Domestic Drafts, $5 Cosmos, Appletinis and Margaritas! We will continue to provide all of the NCAA Championship Week action, from the Big East, Big Ten, Pac-10, ACC and anything else they shove down our throats!
