MAN OF GOD RUNS LONGEST MILES.....
In the upcoming Sunday Daily News (4/2/06), on page 63 of the Sports section, you will find an intersting little article about FATHER BRIAN JORDAN. Who is he you ask? He is a Franciscan priest based at Manhattan's St. Francis of Assisi Church. He's an avid runner and has completed over 50 marathons thus far. According to the article, he plans on running in this month's Boston Marathon on behalf of MATTHEW LONG.
"Firefighters like Matthew Long give their blood, sweat and tears every day on the job. This time I will give a pint of blood, the sweat from the marathon and my tears of joy when I give the medal to Matthew".
