AHHH...TUESDAYS ARE BACK!
With the weather being as beautiful as it was, it was not a surprise to see the bar teeming with people looking to unwind with dollar drafts after work. Over the past few months the cold weather helped put a damper on Dollar Draft Madness, keeping the crowd size down from normal levels. However, with the weather rapidly improving, the increase in the number of patrons on a Tuesday night is definitely noticeable. And right on time. There's nothing like a rockin' Tuesday night with dollar mugs flowing and people having a good time. The vibe is a positive one, and it definitely makes the night go by quicker, that's for sure.
Last evening had your mix of blue collar, white collar, post-college drifters, and a multitude of Yankees fans, having a post-game celebration. Add in your Tuesday night regulars, plenty of chicks, some Canadian tourists, a gaggle of Scottish flight attendants, YET another "C-List" Reality TV star, and a bunch of alt-punk groupies and you have yourself a pretty raucous time. Let's just say that if every Tuesday is like this past Tuesday, then we're in for a good summer....
WEDNESDAY: It's Hump Day- meaning we're halfway through the dreaded work week. Take a pause for the cause with $3 Molson Canadian, Coors Light, Blue Moon Ale or Molson Triple XXX. There is plenty of sports to choose from, with the METS vs NATIONALS (will Pedro bean another hitter?), NHL Playoff Race winding down to a frenetic finish (we carry all games on NHL CENTER ICE), or NBA basketball, we have it all!
Yesterday's post about being friends with your "ex" brought about some interesting responses.... keep them coming. They definitely provided some food for thought!
That's it for now; I'll be back to update more later! And to all those who observe, enjoy your PASSOVER!

Swanfather,
I think that chicken soup and carrot juice might have been a bad idea.
Mr. T.
Speaking of Ex's being friends. I broke up with this girl, who subsequently turned out to be a guy. Anyway, we hang out at the park all the time now and play ball.
Looking back, I now realize that her shaving her whiskers everyday was a sign that I clearly missed.
