"SHE'S GOT A GREAT ASS AND YOU GOT YOUR HEAD ALL THE WAY UP IT..."

That famous line from a famous movie starring AL PACINO fueled a raging debate involving a couple of our regulars last night. A debate so intense, that yours truly was called in to settle the matter. More on that in a moment.

Tuesday night turned out to be a pretty busy night, signs that our normal routine is coming back to form. We were again invaded by hordes of NYU Medical College students, eager to take advantage of our cheap drink specials and to hook up with one another. You know how it is when you start the school year with new students; You find yourself spending the first week going out night-after-night, drinking heavily and getting the jump on that specific girl or guy before the returning students come back to lay claim. It was much the same in this case. It was kind of comical, however, because most of these students don't really look like they are built to party. I guess when you spend most of your time in the books, your social skills aren't the best to begin with, so you could see the awkwardness of it all with these guys. Trying too hard to be "Joe College", while at the same time, rocking the NYU Medical student id clipped on the pants. It was enough to make you roll your eyes.


I also got to spend some time with SILENT BOB and AMERICAN PSYCHO of the Sunday Brew Crew during the early part of the night. These guys always find a way to make me laugh and I enjoy talking with them. Together we made some interesting fashion observations; some positive, mostly negative. Of course, I had my trusty spy cam to take critical shots of the various fashion faux pas. You be the judge.

Overall, the night itself was a good one, as we were kept on our toes all night long. As for the aforementioned "debate" over the famous quote, I was drawn into the argument by JON CUSACK and STIFFLER (shocking, isn't it?). Somehow they got into this debate over which movie that line came from ("SHE'S GOT A GREAT ASS AND YOU GOT YOUR HEAD ALL THE WAY UP IT..."). JON CUSACK swore that the line came from the movie SCENT OF A WOMAN, while STIFFLER insisted that the quote came from the movie, HEAT. I suggested that they "google" the movie quote and see what came up. Of course, they both laughed at me, thinking it would be a waste of time. I then (using the skills of SOLOMON), suggested that I look up the answer and being a fair and impartial judge, render a verdict on the blog TODAY. They both agreed on that and wagered A MONTH'S DRINK TAB on the results (which I found out later was changed to DOUBLE OR NOTHING).
