GRIDLOCKED! pt. II
I thought yesterday was bad, but today is a hell of a lot worse as the U.N. General Assembly opened today with a speech from El Presidente, G.W. Bush. As a result of the gathering, all access to anything east of 3rd Avenue is virtually impossible, from East 34th Street to about 50th Street. So if you were dumb enough to ignore all warnings to avoid driving into Manhattan, you are surely paying for it now.
I went out for an early morning walk and the gridlock was already taking place at 7am. By 8am the car horns sounded like a symphony concert. By 9am, I was ready for road rage and I was in the apartment! And to think we have another week of chaos to go... WTF!
So the METS finally clinched a playoff berth last night. Met fans everywhere are rejoicing, singing songs about going to the World Series. A bit premature, in my opinion, but nevertheless, I tip my hat to them for a job well done. They deserve their accolades as they were clearly the class of their division. I'd like to make one small observation: MR. MET- call me crazy, but MR. MET reaffirms my fear of clowns and other strange looking mascots. I'd rank him right up there with Billy Ray Cyrus and other mullet-wearing individuals....
Billy Ray Cyrus-MULLET GOD
Tonight, DOLLAR DRAFT MADNESS continues with $1.00 mugs of BUD/BUD LIGHT, all night long! I'll be there, but will you? That is the question of the day......
More updates to come!

He will probably try to kill you. Mullet people are fiercely loyal to the hair. Scary stuff.
