700th POST!!!!!!

Logging onto the blog site just now, I just noticed that this is my 700th post for the blog. 700!!!! Who would have thought that I'd have so much to talk about? Well, working at Third and Long always seems to give me something to write about, that's for sure.. Lucky for me (maybe not so much for you) that I enjoy writing this damn thing or else I would have moved on long ago.....

As for last night, it was a virtual rainout as the hype about the coming monsoon pretty much chased everyone home. All of the bars were dead (ours included). At least it allowed for me to catch up on some conversations with some of the regulars (MR. TANQUERAY, JON CUSACK, STIFFLER, NAPOLEON DYNAMITE, T-BILL, MR. CHIPS among those who braved the rain). I also got to bust BLONDE CHATTERBOX's balls about her dating habits, which was fun.

The weather is much nicer today with the sunshine back in full force and the temps nice and breezy. Hopefully that will translate to a busy night. On another note, the phone's been ringing off the hook for the OHIO STATE/MICHIGAN game tomorrow. Folks trying to make reservations for tables (um hello???? we're a bar!) and bar seats... Should be a good turnout and a great game.
