Yesterday was one of those days that was one for the ages. With the usual cast of characters and a few newbies sprinkled in, it was simply one of those afternoons that was just plain fun. What was fun about it? When you break it down to its simplest parts- there was no one specific moment that stood out; (well, maybe seeing everyone do a double-take when they saw T-BILL and his twin brother side-by-side). It was simply one of those afternoons that had non-stop action and laughs throughout.
It also made me realize that as much fun as we had yesterday joking over Gentleman's drinks and innocent teasing, that "THE SEASON" is quickly drawing to a close. It feels like only yesterday that we kicked off the football season with the big yearbook showdown between NAPOLEON and I, and just like that- we're just about to celebrate another fun-filled year at our Annual Holiday Party (a sure sign that the season is almost over). *sigh*
I don't want to think about it just yet; I still have a few weeks left to savor. So I'll leave it at that.
NEXT SUNDAY: The SUNDAY BREW CREW AWARDS CEREMONY. A season-long view at the highlights and the lowlights of the football season, Third and Long style. The appropriate awards will be given out to those who are "noteworthy" (heh, heh, heh). So make sure to be there next Sunday afternoon- awards will be presented at halftime of the 1pm games.
OOPS!! I was reminded of another Celebrity Sighting on Friday (or was it Thursday? Hmmm) as DAVE ANNABLE (currently seen on ABC's "BROTHERS and SISTERS" and and most recently in the film, LITTLE BLACK BOOK co-starring BRITTANY MURPHY) strolled into Third and Long with our own ANGEL (turns out they are good friends); Should have known he was a pretty-boy TV star, just by the way the chicks were flocking to him like flies on shit.DOLLAR DRAFT MADNESS TONIGHT ($1.00 Bud/Bud Light/Coors Light Mugs).
