Last night was the "Annual" Christmas Gathering, hosted by THE MAYOR OF MURRAY HILL and MR. T. Whenever these two get behind the bar, they usually attract a pretty large, yet eclectic following, and last night was no exception. From the blue-blood corporate types, to creative musical types, last night was filled with good cheer and the constant flowing of spirits, both festive and liquid. Aside from the occasional spill of the olive juice, the boys held a pretty good accounting of themselves. And I have to admit, they did bring in some serious eye candy (almost made a brotha want to get into publishing), too.
A pretty good gathering, rave reviews from the guests, what more could you ask for?
On a totally different note, every once in awhile I come across a film that I either love or hate and I'll either rave or rant about it here. Last film I spoke about (DEJA VU), I ranted like a madman because it was the worst movie ever made (at least in this century). This time, I've come across a foreign independent film called SEXO CON AMOR (2003); Made in Chile, it's an interesting film (with subtitles, of course) about a teacher, married couples and other Chileans and how they deal with relationships and infidelities. A cool flick, definitely one you watch with someone else (as in a couple, of course). Has some "naughty bits", but tastefully done. Currently airing on the HBO network.
