MR. TOUR GUIDE

I found myself playing "tour guide" for our out-of-town guest yesterday; She'd come to NYC on business and made it a point to visit our fair little pub; the least I could do was show my gratitude by showing her around our fair city. She was particularly interested in visiting "Ground Zero", so we spent the afternoon walking around downtown Manhattan. We hit the usual tourist spots, including Ground Zero, The Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, Chinatown, SoHo, Greenwich Village, slowly working our way back uptown.


I felt like we walked a hundred miles by the time all was said and done. But it was cool. KAT's a pretty cool lady and it was nice to get to know her during our stroll around town. I get the sense that she really enjoyed her visit to NYC and getting to know our "family". She's welcome anytime (as well as any other far-away blog readers keen on visiting us here in NYC)! Last night was LADIES NIGHT, where the women rule the night. I hung out at the beginning of the night and was fairly impressed with the turnout. When I arrived, REDSKINS GIRL and FREEJACK were there, comparing notes on their respective days. Soon after, the bar began to fill up with small groups of women and the evening looked promising as I left. I am hoping to build on this night and ultimately have it so that there are hundreds of women hanging out on a Wednesday night, fawning over my every whims.... er, sorry, am I daydreaming out loud again?


After today, there will be a temporary moratorium on REDSKINS GIRL pics.... She joins AFRIKA BAMBATTA on the "do-not-photo" list for two weeks. nuff said!

Shake it girlfriend...

It's LITE NITE THURSDAY (with all LIGHT beers @ $4.00 each) and while the temps are expected to drop, the bar will be nice and toasty, and i'll be there to spread some cheer. So if you aren't doing anything, stop by and say hello!

Just a reminder: Since there are no NFL games scheduled this Sunday, we're changing things up and making it CASUAL FUN-DAY where there will be board games, a NINTENDO Wii hook-up and $4.00 Domestic Drafts all day long. Feel free to bring your favorite games to the bar and let's make the most of a casual Sunday afternoon!
