Weekend Happenings

The weekend is upon us and here's what's on tap at your favorite neighborhood pub:

FRIDAY: After-Work Happy Hour (4pm - 8pm), with all BEERS, MIXED WELL DRINKS and HOUSE WINES, $4.00! Pop in for a "warm-me-up" before making that cold trek home. Also look out for the return of F.I.T. Girl, who'll be working behind the bar tonight!

SATURDAY: "KICK the KEG" Saturdays return with $2.00 mugs, ALL BEERS ON TAP (12pm - 8pm)!

SUNDAY: Since there's no NFL action this weekend, we will be having a day of "BOOZE and BOARD GAMES" with board games and a Nintendo Wii set up for an afternoon of interactive fun. Bring your favorite board games; DIRTY SANCHEZ will bless us with the use of his Wii. Should be fun. $4.00 Domestic Drafts all afternoon.

Thursday night- a good night all around. Nothing else needs to be said on that.

Next week will be a monumental one in that Wednesday, January 31, 2007 will be MASTER THESPIAN's TV debut on the ABC comedy "The Knights of Prosperity" (9pm). We will be airing it at the bar for anyone who's interested in seeing it.

It is also the 2nd Anniversary of the blog, The Diary of Third and Long. It will also be the last day of the blog as we know it. It's been a nice run but unfortunately, it's no longer fun for me and I swore to myself that once I get to the point when it becomes a chore than a joy in writing it, I would put it to bed. So if you are around join me as I give it a final toast (coincidentally it's also the end of NO-JUICE January), it would mean a lot to me to have you.
