REDNECK RISING

Yesterday some of the Sunday Brew Crew members and myself spent the day watching the DAYTONA 500. To commemorate the day, NAPOLEON DYNAMITE surprised us by making a tray of barbeque ribs, chicken, kielbasi (that's polish sausage for you illiterate types), baked beans and bacon.





Add to that some PBR's and Jim Beam shots, the boys settled in for a long afternoon of racing. However, knowing the boys and their bouts of A.D.D., it was a good thing that we had the NINTENDO Wii set up in the back of the bar. So in between watching the race, eating some tasty ribs and a few rounds of bowling, the afternoon went quickly.


NAPOLEON DYNAMITE had to leave us a bit early because he found himself in hot water with the missus; so to help him out, I wrote a note, excusing him for being a moron and not being at home with the pretty SMURFETTE.

Later in the day, we were graced by BABY GIRL and her posse, who just returned from the RANGERS/BLACKHAWKS hockey game. By then the bar had emptied out and I thought I was in for a quiet Sunday night. However, I then remembered that there was a group of people from ADSENSE coming in to watch their company on this week's episode of THE APPRENTICE. I had been told earlier in the week that a group was coming in, but with the holiday weekend approaching, I wasn't quite sure what to expect.

Imagine my surprise when the employees of ADSENSE and their friends began to stroll in. By the time the show aired, the bar was pretty full. I found myself running around like a chicken with his head cut off. Which wasn't a bad thing, mind you; just wasn't expecting such a lively crowd. They were pretty cool and were really into watching the show... until they realized that all of the taping that they did for the show didn't make the cut. They weren't too happy with that. That sucked. However, they dealt with it the best way they could- by drinking even more!

It turned out to be one of my best Sunday nights in quite awhile. Thanks ADSENSE for choosing to hang out with us!
