PARTY HEARTY MARDI GRAS-DY.....

Ok, so I tried to do a rhyming thing there, but you get my drift. Mardi Gras (a.k.a. Fat Tuesday) was last night and while it had its moments, it wasn't nearly the same sort of craziness as in years past. The Avenue reflected it as the strip as a whole was pretty quiet. Especially for this sort of celebration. Those who did stop by, however, got into "the spirit of the thing" and we made the best of the situation. Plenty of beads were passed out by yours truly; more than a few folks sampled the Hurricane drinks as well as the usual Dollar Drafts; Overall, while it wasn't the usual nutty scene we come to expect on Fat Tuesday, it was pretty cool nevertheless. At least I had a good time!










BLOG is short and sweet today as I am covering the day shift. Ladies, don't forget, it's GIRLS NIGHT OUT tonight with $2.00 Mixed Well Drinks (for the ladies), and $4.00 Amstel Light, Blue Moon Ale and Coors Light (for everyone)!
