BIRTHDAY MANIA
Last night at Dollar Draft Madness, it seemed like everyone had a birthday; from the guest bartender to ANGEL's B.F.F., to a number of other random folks, February 27 seemed like the day of days to celebrate a birthday. Overall, a pretty good crowd, which leads me to believe that Spring is right around the corner.....
Want to send a quick shout out to MR. LO-KEY, BABY GIRL, STIFFLER and AMERICAN PSYCHO for stopping by last night. Always nice to see the regulars.
As I am typing this, I am experiencing the angst that goes along with hiding in my room when the cleaning lady is here. Should I be out there helping her or am I better served just staying out her way? I torture myself with this dilemma every time a cleaning person comes by. I've documented it before but the torture never ends. I think I'll stay in my room for now....
I'm getting excited because tomorrow, yes tomorrow- NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK begins. That's when all of the basketball conferences have their championship games, which leads to the beginning of MARCH MADNESS, the best three weeks in sports. Of course, we'll have ALL games, beginning with CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK through MARCH MADNESS and the eventual NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. Be on the lookout for specials throughout the month of March!

And finally, if you walk by the bar, you'll notice that our windows are painted for the upcoming St. Patrick's Day celebration. In one of the windows there's a saying: "Have a Soft Day". Now some of the regulars questioned what that meant. After doing some cursory investigating, it turns out "Have a Soft Day" means simply, "Have a nice day" over in Ireland. Stop by and check out the windows!

March Madness baby! The greatest month of the year! From the 15th to the 18th my eyes will be glued to the TV being diverted only to reach for my beer and chicken wings. I will even have something rigged up to avoid the need for a bathroom.

I must admit- i'm looking forward to it myself! To the games, not so much you pissing your pants on your couch.
It's all a system of pulleys and levers, Einstein would have been proud of it. Oh, and a funnel and some empty beer bottles. But Einstein would still be proud of it.
