BACK TO NORMAL

Now that the hectic weekend has passed, we can go back to normalcy. I can finally feel my feet again and hopefully by today, the bar will be back in shape. I worked my normal shift yesterday and you could still see (and smell) signs of the debauchery of the St. Patrick's Day festivities- an obvious reminder of what went on 24 hours earlier.

Now that I've had 24 hours to process everything, I can honestly say that this was probably one of the better St. Patrick's Day celebrations we've had in quite awhile. The best part of it all: No major incidents and that most people had a great time. And that's all you can ask for.

Next "event" on the agenda? Yes, the ELEPHANT PARADE is approaching. Stay tuned this week for more details.

ON ANOTHER NOTE: You know the saying "Karma's a Bitch"? Well this is certainly true when it comes to this individual. A few weeks back I wrote about a guy who "claimed" to be a friend of the bar, yet kept giving us and the patrons problems at the bar all night long? (click HERE for recap). Well it looks like he caused one problem too many as he made the NY Post police blotter page. Let's just say it's never a good idea to punch someone over a cab, let alone a woman. Oh well. Live and learn.

And finally, on a lighter note: DOLLAR DRAFT MADNESS tonight!
