IT'S ALWAYS NICE TO MEET NEW FOLKS....

Sunday afternoon was your typical "Chill-Out" day, filled with Su-Doku, March Madness b-ball, and good natured banter(and debates) between friends and strangers alike. The usual cast of characters were in to say hi; BABY GIRL, DIRTY SANCHEZ, STIFFLER, JOHN CUSACK, NAPOLEON DYNAMITE (freshly-tanned from his trip to the Caribbean, I might add), MR. LOW-KEY, MR. CHIPS and even T-BILL, who gimped up to the bar from home, cast on his leg and all. A light-hearted afternoon.

I got to meet a really nice couple from Ireland late in the evening; They were in town, visiting for the first time. They were staying at my favorite hotel (the Affinia Dumont Plaza) since Wednesday and Sunday was their last night in town. After talking with them for what seemed like hours, they realized that they were really enjoying themselves at our bar and regretted not discovering us sooner. Kieran and Linda were really cool, down to earth people and I hope they stop by again the next time they are in town. It's tourists like them that makes it worthwhile to be a bartender.

DOLLAR DRAFT MADNESS is back tonight ($1.00 mugs, BUD/BUD LIGHT and COORS LIGHT)!

Oden and Hibbert should be a good match up. Should be a good game overall, the line is even. Now, if I asked Swandad which way he'd go, what would his response be?

A self-respecting Buckeye fan such as myself wouldn't go near that game for fear of jinxing "America's Team".

"America's Team" didn't do so hot in the football championship. I might have to go with the Hoyas on this one. I mean come on, the Renter has them winning the whole thing and she just learned what a bracket was a couple months ago.
