WICKED WEDNESDAY
Last night was GIRLS NIGHT OUT, and if we got anything close to what we got on Tuesday night, I was going to be pleased. You see, I ended up working last minute and lucky for me, it turned out to be an interesting (yet strange) night.
For starters, it turned out that a group of Podiatry students just completed exams before spring break and decided to unwind at Third and Long. This was a boisterous crowd to say the least; primarily composed of females, this bunch definitely took advantage of the drink specials. I think they even caught my bartenders off guard initially due to their high level of energy.
Then you had those individuals who were in town for the Big East Tournament. Boosters of the various teams were in and out all night long, looking to drink and of course, watch basketball. I even got to speak with some of the coaches of DePaul University, who were bummed out about being bounced from the tournament. Pretty cool guys.
All told, a pretty good night, especially for a Wednesday.

Okay, here's the deal: In the men's room, there is some posted advertising near the sink. Every week the ads change and every once in a while, the company who places the ads will sneak in one that actually speaks to you. So imagine my surprise when I'm at the urinal, handling my business, when I hear Andrew "Dice" Clay making jokes about my manhood! It's kinda creepy! Clever, but creepy.
After work, I took a quick walk to my favorite deli, MURRAY HILL MARKET (on East 34th/Lexington- yes, a shameless plug). While I was waiting to pay for my food, I could hear the TV playing in the background. Problem was, I didn't see a TV anywhere. So I asked the counter guy where his TV was; Sure enough, the guy was watching TV, VIA HIS CELL PHONE!!!!! Whoa! Am I that far behind to not know about this? I asked the guy what service he used, and he said T-Mobile. Wow.
*note to self: Invest in T-Mobile.....

Looked like a good night. And the two you are thinking up blog names for... Damn! I can see your dilemma. Making up blog names for them would require a LOT of planning and thinking. How else could you come up with names that would justly describe their beauty and charm? Maybe ask the readers for their suggestions, use the power of your to work for you.
