FILE UNDER "Shocking!"...

In today's New York Post's NYPD DAILY BLOTTER (an entertaining read, by the way), our own Murray Hill neighborhood made the news:

"A man was arrested for zapping a foe with a stun gun in a Murray Hill restaurant, authorities said yesterday.

HAROLD WENDORFF, 41, of Wilton, CT, believed the victim was badmouthing his friend in the eatery on East 38th street at 7pm Sunday and the two began arguing, the DA's Office said.

WENDORFF suddenly put the stun gun to the victim's neck, inflicting a severe shock and a five-inch burn mark, cops said. WENDORFF was arrested on charges of assault and weapons possession."

You can't make this stuff up, I tell ya.
