A funny thing happened to me on my way to work...

I got an early morning text-message wake-up from SILENT BOB asking me if I knew what happened. I texted back to him that I didn't know what he was talking about. He told me to look out my window and sure enough, when I looked out the window, here was the scene:

Broken glass everywhere and what's left of a telephone booth, sitting in the street. Onlookers walking to work, stopping and staring at LIBERTY TRAVEL in amazement, then moving on.

"Hmmm. Wonder what happened?" I thought.

A couple of hours later, before going to the bar to open up for the day, I took a walk to LIBERTY TRAVEL to see what all the hubbub was. Sure enough, the front of the place looked as if someone tried to run through it with a tank.


OUCH.

I don't know what was more bizarre, the fact that a vehicle had somehow hit the top corner of the storefront; the fact that I slept through the whole thing or the puzzled look of the employees as they were trying to figure out what the hell happened. Weird stuff.

In other news, we just finished finalizing our RED BULL HAPPY HOUR slated for this Thursday from 7pm-9pm:

"You buy the Shot- We'll buy you the Red Bull!"
