THE HEAT IS ON!

The tune made famous in the film BEVERLY HILLS COP is dancing in my head right now as I write this; Why? Well we had another problem with our AC unit last night; this time, right in the middle of a crowded bar of patrons, there for a fund raiser. Surprisingly enough, most of the attendees were good about the snafu and stuck it out for as long as they could. I even kept the windows open as late as I could to keep the heat to a minimum but I finally had to shut them at around midnight, to keep the beat cops happy. Gotta respect the neighbors, you know. My apologies once again to all the patrons who were inconvenienced last night.

So now we wait for the repairman to make his annual appearance to take care of the situation. With the temps expected to hover around 90 degrees, hopefully he'll get the thing up and running by the time the Yankees/Red Sox game begins at 3:30pm. (fingers crossed).


Just another day in Murray Hill.
