WEEKEND HAPPENINGSKeeping this post short today as I have to open up the shop. Before I dispense on what's on tap for the weekend (Get it? On "Tap"? I crack myself up sometimes), I want to wish our own STIFFLER the best of luck as he represents NYC and Third and Long at the Bud Light Home Run Derby National Championship (sponsored by Bud Light and XBOX), taking place in San Francisco during Major League Baseball's All-Star Break next week! Do your best and represent us well, my friend! We'll be pulling for you!
Last night I was hanging out with BIG BLACK, and OPIE CUNNINGHAM during the night shift (Happy Birthday OPIE btw), when in comes our friend, the ENERGIZER BUNNY. She'd come from the "date from hell" and was filling us in on the sordid details. One of the things that annoyed her (and rightfully so) was the fact that the guy chose to go "dutch" on the tab, after he was the one that asked her out.
Now the way I was raised, if you ask someone out for dinner, the person who asked, pays. Let's just say this guy won't be getting a second date with this one. Your thoughts?
FRIDAY: After-Work Happy Hour (4pm-8pm): $4.00, all beers, mixed well drinks and house wines! (ITALIAN STALLION and BABY GIRL behind the stick!)
SATURDAY: "Kick the Keg" Saturdays (12pm-10pm): $2.00 mugs, ALL BEERS ON TAP! (BROOKLYN PAULIE and TERRY W. behind the stick!)
