I THINK WE'RE ON TO SOMETHING HERE....
We had another good turnout for "Girls Night Out", with a more than a few large mixed groups, enjoying the cheap specials, especially the PBR Cans. Some even tried to re-live their college days by doing "shotguns" with the PBR cans; unfortunately for most of them, they forgot how to accurately do a "shotgun" as beer sprayed all over their suits (one young lady got her white dress soaked, much to my delight). It was pretty funny though.
What was most interesting to me was the number of positive comments I got for of the "Classic Rock" that was playing all night long. For those of you out of the loop, I instituted a "No-Rap Wednesday" rule, where the only thing that would be played (to go along with the PBR theme) is "Classic Rock." I originally did it as an experiment and it seems to be working. So it looks like we'll be entertained by the likes of The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Cream, Jefferson Starship, ELO and Black Sabbath each week for the foreseeable future. Rock on!!
My goal is a simple one. Build up Wednesday nights so that we have hot chicks hanging out ALL NIGHT LONG! As a red-blooded American male, what more could you want?
THURSDAY NIGHT: "Lite Nite" Thursdays (4pm-10pm): $4.00, ALL LIGHT BEERS (bottles/drafts)!
Speaking of beers, Last month we introduced to the bar patrons a new beer on tap: MC SORLEY'S ORIGINAL ALE. Now, we've added to the rotation another oldie but goodie: J.W. DUNDEE'S HONEY BROWN ALE. Try it out the next time you're at the bar. You'll be pleasantly surprised! This will only be available for a very short time, so check it out!
Don't forget to swing by to say FAREWELL to THE SPIN DOCTOR!

$4 bottles and drafts? Aren't drafts usually (always) cheaper? If I wear a skirt can I get the ladies prices on Wednesdays? I'll sneek you a peek...
Normally drafts are $5.00 (domestic) and $6.00 (imports). We have Dollar Draft (Bud/Bud Light/Coors Light) on Mondays and Tuesdays. And we also do $2.00 mugs (all beers on tap) on Saturdays afternoons.
But of course, all of the regulars know that.
Hey Curt, they had a discussion of who is "America's Team" on ESPN today and not one mention of any teams from the great state of Ohio! Hard to believe, huh?
