UPCOMING EVENTS and REMINDERS

It's been a pretty good Fall season thus far, with college and pro football well underway and the baseball pennant races heating up. This weekend will no doubt be a busy time for sports fans so here's what's on tap at THIRD and LONG (plan accordingly):

TONIGHT: "Lite Nite Thursdays" (all LIGHT beers, bottles and drafts, $4.00- 4pm-10pm). WEST VA vs MARYLAND @ 7:30pm; YANKEES vs BLUE JAYS @ 7PM.

FRIDAY: "After-Work Happy Hour" (all beers, mixed well drinks and house wines, $4.00- 4pm-8pm). YANKEES vs RED SOX; METS vs PHILLIES, 7pm.

SATURDAY: "Kick the Keg Saturdays" ($2.00 mugs, ALL BEERS ON TAP- 12pm-8pm; ESPN GAME PLAN). "Bud Light College Game of the Night" ($3.00 Bud/Bud Light Pints 8pm-11pm), BOSTON COLLEGE vs GEORGIA TECH.

SUNDAY: "FAN-tasy Football Sundays, sponsored by BUD LIGHT. $3.00 Bud/Bud Light Pints, ALL DAY LONG. NFL SUNDAY TICKET

We're still signing up new members for the Sunday Football Touchdown Club. For more info, stop by the bar and inquire with one of the bar staff.

FIREFIGHTER MATT LONG AND THE NY BLOOD CENTER
REQUEST YOUR PARTICIPATION IN BLOOD DRIVES THIS MONTH

In December 2005, Firefighter Matthew Long (L-43) was riding his bike to work when he had a near fatal accident. Since then, he has used hundreds of units of blood in his recovery. Simply put, blood donations saved his life. Now he and the New York Blood Center are asking for your help to donate blood this month as they host drives at the following locations:
