In December 2005, Firefighter Matthew Long (L-43) was riding his bike to work when he had a near fatal accident. Since then, he has used hundreds of units of blood in his recovery. Simply put, blood donations saved his life. Now he and the New York Blood Center are asking for your help to donate blood this month as they host drives at the following locations:
