Police have arrested a Brooklyn man in connection with more than a dozen Manhattan robberies since September.
Herbert Rodriguez, 35, faces charges of robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.
Police had released surveillance images from the string of robberies, including a Murray Hill candy store that was robbed at gunpoint. They also say that earlier that same afternoon he attempted to rob a jewelry store on Prince Street in SoHo and held up a clothing store in Chinatown.
During his spree he allegedly robbed a range of businesses, including a dry cleaners and news stands.
We can all rest easy now.....
