POST-NEW YEAR'S HANGOVER... TALK ABOUT BRUTAL.

Now that the New Year has officially begun, it's now "hangover time". You know how it is: The immediate few days after a big holiday is usually one filled with downtime as everyone tries to recover from the chaos of celebrating. This involves detoxing the body and rebuilding of the bank account. As a result, the bars and restaurants find themselves slower than normal for a week or so. Add to that equation the brutally cold weather we've had the past few nights and it's pretty much a wrap as far as foot traffic goes. As boring as it can sometimes be, you learn to take the good with the bad. That's the nature of the business. I expect that things will rebound this weekend, with the NFL playoffs looming and most folks ready to come out again after a few days of "cabin fever". In the meantime, here's what's on tap at the bar this weekend:


FRIDAY: After-Work Happy Hour (5pm-10pm): All Beers, Mixed Well Drinks and House Wines, $4.00. What better way to kick off the weekend?


SATURDAY: "Kick the Keg" Saturdays (12pm-8pm): $2.00 mugs, ALL BEERS ON TAP!!! NFL Playoffs begin at 4pm (Washington vs Seattle). NFL Playoffs continue at 8pm (Jacksonville vs Pittsburgh)- drink specials during the game!


SUNDAY: FAN-tasy Football Sundays ($3.00 Bud/Bud Light Drafts). NY Giants vs Tampa Bay @1pm; At halftime, we will have the drawing for the season-long Touchdown Club Raffle. San Diego vs Tennessee @ 4:15pm.


Weather should improve considerably so I expect to see everyone at some point this weekend!
