There's a lot going on this week so I want to take a moment to bring you up to speed on what to look forward to.
TODAY: KANSAS vs MEMPHIS, NCAA National Championship Game (9pm). March Madness comes to a close with the final game, with all of the marbles on the line. It should be a doozy. (DOLLAR DRAFT MADNESS with $1.00 Bud/Coors Light/Bud Light MUGS, all night long!)
TUESDAY: NY METS HOME OPENER (1pm). The "Amazin's" last Home Opener at Shea Stadium takes place today, against the rival Philadelphia Phillies. UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Quarterfinal, 2nd Leg takes place at 2:30pm, with Liverpool vs Arsenal and Chelsea vs Fenerbahce facing each other. ($3.00 Bud/Bud Light/Coors Light, 12pm-4pm).
WEDNESDAY: STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS BEGIN (7pm). The toughest road to a championship begins tonight with the opening round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Highlight matchup: NY RANGERS vs NJ DEVILS, OTTAWA SENATORS vs PITTSBURGH PENGUINS (among other great matchups). We will carry ALL NHL Playoff games (with sound guarenteed Mon-Wed) here. UEFA Champions League continues with Manchester United vs A.S. Roma, and Barcelona vs F.C. Schalke, 2:30pm. ($3.00 Molson Canadian drafts, $3.00 Mixed Well Drinks for ladies, and Coors Light buckets, 5/$15.00).
THURSDAY: Baseball and hockey and THE MASTERS. Not only do we have great baseball and thrilling playoff hockey action going on, add to the mix the always intriguing MASTERS golf tournament. Will Tiger Woods continue his hot streak of majors? Stay tuned. ("Lite Nite" Thursdays, with all light beers, $4.00 and Miller Lite buckets, 5/$15.00).
FRIDAY: YANKEES vs RED SOX. Along with everything else I mentioned this week, what would a top-notch week in sports be without the biggest rivalry in baseball? Well, it all begins again this weekend with the New York Yankees vs the Boston Red Sox, in historic Fenway Park. I don't need to go into what this means for everyone who loves baseball. Bragging rights are on the line again. (After-Work Happy Hour, 5pm-10pm. $4.00, ALL Beers, Mixed Well Drinks, and House Wines).
So with everything that's going on this week, there's no excuse for you NOT to be here. Strap yourselves in folks, it's going to be a great week if you are a sports fan!
