COMING SOON: EURO 2008!!!

We're halfway to the next World Cup (of soccer), which takes place in South Africa in 2010. In the meantime, there's the European Soccer Championships (better known as Euro 2008) which takes place in early June. I'm giving you the heads up now because we will be carrying EVERY live match from the opening kickoff (June 7) until the Grand Final (June 29). The teams that will be participating in EURO 2008:

Switzerland , Czech Republic, Austria, Croatia
Romania, France , Spain, Russia
Portugal, Turkey, Netherlands, Greece
Sweden, Germany, Poland, Italy

Matches begin at 12 noon and/or 2:45pm each day.

So plan on a month of great international soccer excitement! Plenty of drink specials to be had each day!

Yesterday was a pretty laid back day filled with jokes, crossword puzzles..... and bowling?

Yes, thanks to THAT DAY BARTENDER GUY and his newly purchased Nintendo Wii, the patrons were able to partake in an afternoon filled with video game excitement. The most popular game of the day was Bowling, hands down. T-BILL, HORNY GOATWEED, SILENT BOB, myself and THAT DAY BARTENDER GUY took turns playing against each other and got a lot of good laughs out of it, even though collectively, we suck at bowling (ok, maybe just me). It made what would have been otherwise a rather ho-hum Sunday afternoon turn into a great time.
