IT AIN'T OVER 'TIL IT'S OVER!!!
Last night was Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals, with the DETROIT RED WINGS holding a commanding 3-1 lead, and expecting to clinch the series on home ice. However, the PITTSBURGH PENGUINS didn't seem to get that memo as they played their hearts out and survived a roaring comeback by the RED WINGS to hold off the championship ceremony for at least one more game, winning 4-3 in THREE OVERTIMES!!!!!
The game itself lasted for almost four hours and with thrilling shots and mind-boggling saves by both goalies, this game was one for the ages. The series now switches back to Pittsburgh for Game 6 on Wednesday, start time: 8pm. Of course, we'll carry the game live!
HAPPY TRAILS......
The music world lost one of the greats as one of the original pioneers of Rock and Roll, BO DIDDLEY, passed away at the age of 79. L Long known for his trademark dark glasses, large-brimmed hat and his squared-box guitar, DIDDLEY was known for some of the early classic hits of the Rock-and-Roll era, such as "Say Man", "Bo Diddley", and "Who Do You Love", which ended up being covered by countless musical acts over the years. He would go on to be inducted into the Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame, and receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
BO DIDDLEY also appeared in memorable scenes in film comedies such as "The Blues Brothers2000" and "Trading Places". One thing he will always be known for is his appearance in the now-classic Nike Commercial, featuring Bo Jackson:
A legendary figure in music, he will be missed.
