96 DEGREES AND RISING!!!!

Sitting in my freon-challenged air conditioned room, I can't help but to marvel at how hot it is outside. As of 5pm, it's 96 degrees out right now, and the humidity is at max levels (or at least it feels like it). Thankfully the AC unit at the bar is responding well to the heat, because, quite frankly, I'm not. The Swanfather doesn't do hot humid weather very well, i'm afraid.

Saturday night features an extension of "Kick the Keg" Saturdays, with $2.00 mugs, ALL BEERS ON TAP (until 10pm). So this is a way to cool off and to sample all of our taps, ranging from the old stand-by, Bud and Bud Light, to the more obscure (Brooklyn Pennant Ale '55, Carlsberg, Yuengling Lager), to the valued imports, including Guinness, Bass Ale and Newcastle Brown Ale, just to name a few. So swing by and check it out!

WI-FI COMES TO THIRD AND LONG

The bar is now wired for wi-fi access for our patrons! So if you happened to stop in for a brew and wanted to whip out the laptop and check out your stock prices or Fantasy Baseball stats, you can do that at the bar. Simply ask the bartender for the "hook-up", (i.e. our temporary password) and you'll be able to surf the net while you drink! Keep in mind that this is a courtesy service to paying customers. There will be a nominal fee for everyone else* (see bartender for details). This is perfect for your Fantasy Football Draft parties too, so jump on board and surf the 'net with us!
