BREEZY DAYS AHEAD...
It looks like Mother Nature is giving us a reprieve on Winter by blessing us with nice weather for the next few days. For example, today we're supposed to hit 50 degrees with plenty of sunshine, and tomorrow, we may even crack 60 degrees! Unheard of for mid-February, but I'll take it. And as always with spring-like temps in the dead of winter, NYC folks go overboard by running around half-naked, which means by this time next week, half of the city will be knocked out with bouts of the flu.
Last night I spent not only a rare night off, but an even rarer night off of Manhattan Island, in BROOKLYN of all places! I went to a pub in Boerum Hill called CEOL, a quaint Irish Pub that featured of all things, "Beer Bingo", a cool take on the classic board game where you got to win some cool prizes and free drinks. Not too shabby. We may look to bring something similar to our place in the near future.
