Countdown 'til the Wearing of the Green!

It's less than 24 hours before organized chaos begins on Third Avenue, let alone Third and Long. In less than 24 hours, St. Patrick's Day and all of its craziness kicks off. The weather forecast is a favorable one for a parade watch, so one can expect a lot of zaniness and interesting happenings. We're slated to open our doors at 10am, kicking things off with our "Pre-Parade Kickoff" with beer specials (you're gonna need any drink special you can get as you WILL be dropping duckets all day long), good music and a festive atmosphere to help start the day off right. Of course, yours truly will be armed with his trusty camera to capture the essence of the day.

On another note, kudos and happy congratulations go out to our ownENERGIZER BUNNY and her STEADY EDDIE as they finally got engaged over the weekend! I'm happy for the both of them as they are a perfect match! And I'm also pretty sure they won't be wearing these outfits at their upcoming nuptials.

And finally, before I sign off for the night, I have decided NOT to run my yearly NCAA March Madness Brackets. I've gotten quite a few inquiries about it already and even though I've run this competition for years, this year I'm just not up to it. If anyone else wants to take over the mantle and keep it going, be my guest with all my blessings. The spark simply isn't there this year to deal with all of the craziness that goes with putting this thing together. So for all of you who participated with me over the years, thanks for your support.

On that note, good night and see you before OR after the parade!

All you have to do is enter the info in Yahoo! and it tracks everything for you. Bum.

Sure, that's the easy part. How about when you have to sort out who's connected to whom and running around and collecting money from everyone and making sure the pot's up to snuff and having to come out of pocket when some "bum" doesn't pay up? Not as easy and glamorous as it looks, smart guy.
