PUB TRIVIA IS BACK!
Last night was a good night as WEDNESDAY NIGHT PUB TRIVIA returned to a packed house. We had close to twenty teams sign up for the festivities and the competition was fierce. So much so that one team got disqualified for blatantly cheating via IPhone. Let me put it to you this way: It's bad enough that you have to resort to cheating to win in any sport (Just ask A-Rod, Barry Bonds, etc.); It's ludicrous when you blatantly cheat while sitting one table away from the judges. D'uh!
With the Big East Tournament in full swing, we found ourselves with plenty of out-of-town visitors stopping by for a cold one (or three). One group that we've come to know and love over the years is a group of great guys from Buffalo. These guys (affectionately known as the BUFFALO BREW CREW), have been coming in for years and when they are here, they certainly make their presence known. They are very outgoing, love to party and usually spend more of their time at the bar than at the games themselves. Well, batten down the hatches, they are back. Be prepared for a wild weekend!
As I mentioned before, last night turned out to be a pretty busy night and with yours truly coming off a nightmare of a night featuring high fever and chills, I'm wiped out again. So I'm keeping this post a short one. There are a lot of great hoops action taking place today and we'll do our best to bring it all to you. Grab your lunch and swing by!
