BRING ON THE JAVA!

For those of you who know me, you know how much of a java addict I am. Because of my crazy schedule, I find myself having to get a cup of coffee at least two-three times a day. Problem is that the coffee around here sucks ass. Sure you have Dunkin' Donuts nearby, but their coffee is inconsistent- you never know what you're getting from one day to the next. Starbucks is an option, but who wants to splurge these days for a regular cup of coffee? And the local bodega coffee- you may as well pour it into your car's engine and call it an oil change.

So I get an invitation from BABY GIRL the other day to use her Friends/Family discount at the high-end department store where she works. I so happened to have a gift card lying around from the same store, and we were talking one night and she suggested that I look for one of those single-serve coffee machines. I fell in love with a KEURIG machine while on my trip to Montreal last year and so, on a whim, I went to the department store's website and sure enough- they had them in stock.

So after a few minutes of navigating through the store's site, I ordered the machine of my dreams. Within the next few days, I will be the proud owner of a KEURIG single-serve coffee machine, complete with individual pods of Green Mountain coffee! And what's even better? They make a re-usable pod that allows you to use your own ground coffee. You know what that means right? I can finally order some Tim Horton's coffee and enjoy it here in NYC instead of simply dreaming about it.



Life is good. I'm done with my rant for the day.
