Last night rainstorm produced a rainout of sorts. It cancelled the NY Yankees/Oakland A's game. It definitely put a damper on the hockey game as the hometown Rangers got shut out by the visiting Washington Capitals. And it put a damper on my spirits personally as the Montreal Canadiens got knocked on their asses again and closer to facing the broom by the Boston Bruins. The monsoon rains was appropriate for the way I felt after the loss. Ugh.
We're expecting some more rain again today but not as severe as what we got yesterday. I know they say April Showers bring May Flowers, but if this keeps up, we're going to have one hell of a garden!
