THANK GOODNESS FOR A NEW WEEK...

After what was certainly one of the more surreal weeks in recent memory, it's great to actually look forward to Monday and starting fresh. It seemed like every day you had a person of note passing away, eliciting various responses from each particular death. Memories ranged from fondness (Ed McMahon), to sadness (Farah Fawcett), to shock (Michael Jackson), to plain stunned (ad pitchman Billy Mays), it was certainly a week to remember. One for the ages.

Within all of that, we had one of our more bizarre weeks at the bar with strange behavior taking center stage for most of the nights. Between projectile vomiters, lap-dance dry-humping parties, and blatant hook-up booty calls in the ladies room, it was one of those weeks where you constantly found yourself saying yet again, "What the F***?". Again, a week to remember.

After all of that, I look forward to this week and hoping for something a little more stable as we approach the 4th of July holiday weekend. Speaking of which, we will be open for business this Saturday so those of you who find themselves stranded in the Big Apple, you are welcome to join us as we make the best of a holiday weekend.

Until then, let's focus on things that are a bit more current, like BEER BINGO tonight. I will be guest-hosting tonight's event for JUNIOR and it should be fun. BEER BINGO is a spin off of the classic game played in Catholic schools around the country. Instead of playing for shekels, however, we play for campy prizes and free drinks. It's a good way to unwind on a Monday night and it's a great way to meet people. Free to play and add to the mix, $1.00 Bud/Bud Light/Coors Light mugs and you're guaranteed a fun time. So stop by at around 8pm and check it out!

I'm off like a prom dress. See you tonight.
