HATS OFF TO HARD WORK....

Yesterday we had another blowout night during DOLLAR DRAFT MADNESS, as the bar got packed relatively early and stayed busy for most of the night. I was off duty but passed by a few times to see how things were going and from what I could see, everyone was having a pretty good time.

That being said, I have to commend FIRE MARSHALL ED and the staff for keeping on their toes and handling the crowd of thirsty revelers without losing their cool. I think sometimes we forget how much work the FIRE MARSHALL puts into keeping the place humming but I for one, see what he puts in each day and I am proud to be working with him. Last night's results are a direct result of the dedication of him and our staff and we're that much better because of it.

We had our usual plethora of interns and tourists dominating the scene, but we also had a eclectic mix of old and young patrons as well. Not sure where they came from but they all seemed to play nice together. Overall I think it was a pretty fine night. A true sign that Summer is here to stay!

CONFEDERATIONS CUP SEMI-FINAL: Landon Donovan, Jozy Altidore and Clint Dempsey led Team USA to an impressive 3-0 victory over Egypt, earning a spot in the Confederations Cup Semifinals against #1 ranked Spain. Riding a 35-game unbeaten streak, Spain will look to the scoring duo of Fernando Torres and David Villa to get them through to the Final! TODAY @ 2:30pm!

TONIGHT: Pub Trivia continues it's weekly session tonight with a mystery theme. Registration begins at 7pm and the fun starts at around 8pm. There's $4.00 Mixed Well Drinks (for ladies as usual), and Buckets of Miller High Life or Labatt Blue (5/$15) for everyone! Winning team will advance to our "Tournament of Champions" in August. Round up a team (up to six players) and join us for a night of fun!
