FOUR DOWN, FOUR TO GO....Last night we began our Pub Trivia "Tournament of Champions", with eight eager teams, anxious to prove themselves worthy of being named "Champions of Pub Trivia". Quite a few of the teams were regular attendees of Pub Trivia, fierce and friendly competitors of the weekly competition; then there were a couple of newbies who made it into the tourney under the wire. Yesterday's theme was a last-minute switch, from "Seinfeld, pt. 2" to "Caddyshack", though no one seemed to mind. The competition was spirited and good natured, and when all was said and done, four of the eight teams were eliminated. The finals of the "Tournament of Champions" will take place next Wednesday night, with the winning team gaining the title of "Champions of Pub Trivia" and all of the spoils that go along with it.
If you're not a part of the "Tournament of Champions", don't fret. You can still participate with a team and answer the same questions as the tournament teams and win prizes as well. As always, it's free to play and all of the fun starts at 8pm! You can expect more difficult and creative questions for the finals!
TONIGHT: "Thirsty Thursdays" (5pm), featuring Miller Lite/Coors Light buckets (5/$15.00) until 9pm, followed by $4 Domestic Drafts (9pm-close)! We're also hosting a PALM ALE promo to introduce you to the great tasting ale from Belgium!
