RAIN RAIN GO AWAY...

The highlight of the day is the much-anticipated World Series opener here in NYC between the hometown Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies. All eyes are on ESPN and believe it or not, the Weather Channel to see whether or not the game will actually be played. We've been deluged with rain the last 24 hours and as of 3:48pm, it's finally starting to show signs of letting up. Will the game be played? All fingers are crossed. The bars in the area are certainly hoping so, that's for sure. Last night was light because of the downpour and it was Dollar Draft night, which is ALWAYS a busy night. So we'll keep our fingers crossed and hope that the weather gods will show some love and give us the game.

In the meantime, we will be PRE-GAMING after work with $4 Brooklyn Pennant Ale Drafts, $4 Mixed Well Drinks (for female fans) and Miller High Life Buckets (5/$15)! We're also going to do some Beer Bingo before the game begins; you have the chance to win free drinks and cool bar swag! So start your PRE-GAME right after-work and settle in for what should be a great night of baseball!

Speaking of showing love, I have to take this moment to say MUCHO GRACIAS to everyone out there for the birthday wishes. My phone and email has been blowing up up non-stop since midnight from friends and well-wishers and it's humbling, to say the least. You meet so many people in this business and to receive the overwhelming number of well-wishes that I've received today... it's a really nice feeling. Thanks again.

Enough about me. Let's hope for a Game One tonight!

That's It. That's All I Got.
