Last night we hosted the MIAMI DOLFANS FOOTBALL CLUB for a night of NFL Football, as their team faced off against the Carolina Panthers. Since this was the only NFL game in play, I expected a full house, and a full house we got.
The Dolphins took control of the game much to the delight of the club members and supporters of the team. Their loud cheers and constant singing could be heard all the way across the street.
However, leave it to the Dolphins to make things interesting as Carolina stormed back in the second half to make things interesting. Lucky for the DOLFAN members, their favorite team was able to hold off the Panthers, 24-17, allowing everyone to go home happy. Say what you will about this motley crew, but they roll deep and they support their team. Next game: 11/29 @ Buffalo.This is shaping up to be another solid weekend of activities, starting with tonight's Happy Hour (5-9pm), featuring $4 Mixed Well Drinks/Domestic Drafts. 1050 ESPN Radio will be making an appearance with the Coors Light girls (8:30pm), with great prizes up for grabs.
SATURDAY: "Kick the Keg Saturday" (12-8pm), featuring $2 mugs, ALL BEERS ON TAP* It's the beginning of "Rivalry Week", so you can catch such classic matchups such as Ohio State vs Michigan and Stanford vs Cal, just to name a few. Then after that, strap yourselves in for an evening of UFC excitement as we host UFC 106: ORTIZ vs GRIFFIN 2.
First match kicks off at around 10pm and there's no cover charge for the event; however, it is STRONGLY recommended that you get there early as the place will fill up quickly.Then on SUNDAY, it's BREW CREW SUNDAY with a full slate of football games as the bye weeks are finally over with. The NY Giants lead the list of 1pm games as they face Atlanta; The NY Jets and the New England Patriots highlight the 4pm games. Should make for a great day of football and fun.
