A PRETTY GOOD NIGHT...
I find myself writing this post at 5:20am, yet it's okay. Why? Because I find myself watching yet another Women's Curling event (Canada vs Germany), so I'm already wide awake. So I figure now is as good a time as any to blog about the good night we had last night.
FRENCHY worked behind the bar with two lovely guests bartenders and friends of the Advertising industry, TIFFANY and COURTNEY. They were visited by friends and co-workers and between that and what seemed to be a larger-than-normal contingent of tourists from various places like Spain, England, Canada and Norway, it made for a pretty good night. A very good night actually.
And as always, the advertising industry folks know how to party, keeping things going all night long!
WEEKEND HAPPENINGS:
There's a lot on tap this weekend, starting with tonight with our "AFTER-WORK HAPPY HOUR", featuring $4 domestic drafts/mixed well drinks (5pm-9pm). Catch all of the excitement of the Winter Olympics, as well as some NBA hoops, with DALLAS/ORLANDO and BOSTON/PORTLAND on tap.
SATURDAY: "Kick the Keg" Saturday starts the day with $2 mugs (all beers on tap*) 12pm-7pm. There will be plenty of NCAA Hoops as well as more coverage of the Winter Olympics! Then come back later in the evening to check out UFC 110: NOGUEIRA vs VELASQUEZ PPV Event (10pm)! No cover charge but get there early as the place tends to fill up quickly!
SUNDAY: "Kick the Keg" Sundays pick up where Saturday left off with more NCAA Hoops, NASCAR from Fontana and more Olympics action on tap. Then finally: USA vs CANADA in pivotal Olympic Hockey action (7pm), LIVE WITH SOUND!
So as you can see, it will be a busy weekend at Third and Long. I hope you will join me for what should be a good time!
Now that the Women's Curling is over, I all of a sudden feel sleepy. I'm out.
