DO or DIE: RUSSIA vs CANADA?

Now that Team U.S.A. has risen to the top of the heap, not just in Men's hockey, but in overall medals at the Vancouver Olympics, Team Canada find themselves scrambling. Not only did they concede that they won't win the overall medals count (a bold prediction before the start of the Olympics), they find themselves in a HUGE do-or-die game tomorrow vs Russia A game that many pundits thought would be for the gold medal. However, because of stunning losses by both Canada and Russia, the two mega hockey powers find themselves in a peculiar situation- playing for their hockey lives.

You can expect both teams to throw everything out on the ice, in what could be termed as an ALL-STAR game in any other year. With Sidney Crosby leading the Canadians and Alex Ovechkin leading the Russians, this game is full of star power with a lot of pride on the line. It should be one hell of a matchup.

BUT FIRST... Team Canada has to get past a pesky German team tonight (7:30pm) or else everything else is moot. Should be an interesting 24 hours....

ANOTHER REASON TO APPRECIATE WOMEN'S CURLING... (not office appropriate!!)
