LOTS GOING ON TODAY...
It's Wednesday, better known as "Hump Day" and there's a lot on my plate today. As I write this, I'm watching "The View" (don't judge) and the women on "The View" are interviewing "The Octomom", that woman who has like five hundred kids. And based on the few minutes I've watched, I'm convinced (as well as the women on the panel) that this Octomom is nuts. (Whoopi Goldberg even asked this woman point blank "Do you think you're all there?"). Holy crap, this woman is all over the place! Talk about mesmerizing TV!
In any case, there's a lot on my plate today. There's plenty of sports on tap this afternoon and tonight, with Champions League soccer and USA/SWITZERLAND quarterfinal action taking place this afternoon. Then there's CANADA vs RUSSIA in a HUGE matchup tonight (7:30pm) which should be intense.
Then there's our weekly Pub Trivia TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS to plan for. It's Round 6 of our weekly tournament and as we're approaching the finals of the highly competitive tournament, I look forward to the final round; We have some surprising twists in store for that big night.
Add to all of that meetings with beer vendors, completing my calendar planning of events for March (which, I might add, is chock full of good stuff) and updating our rotation of beers (Spring is coming, you know) and my head is spinning. But, that goes with the job.
Okay, it's official. The Octomom is nuts. Truly a hot mess. I gotta get a clip of this interview. She's really lost it....
TONIGHT: PUB TRIVIA TOURNAMENT of CHAMPIONS, ROUND 6 (7:30 sharp)! Bring your friends/co-workers and compete for a chance to gain a spot in the finals of our Tournament of Champions! Free to play, great prizes to win! (teams consist of 1-8 players). GET THERE EARLY as seating will fill up quickly! $4 Mixed Well Drinks (for ladies) and $15 Miller High Life buckets (for everyone)! CANADA vs RUSSIA quarterfinals (7:30pm)!
In the meantime, if you got some free time on your hands, check out the blog of one of my friends and a good friend of the bar. Her name is SARA and she's a transplant from Texas, trying to make her way in the Big Apple. She's funny, crazy and her blog is a fun read.
That's It. That's All I Got!

Hopefully the U.S. pulls through and plays in the Gold Medal Game on Sunday, i'll hopefully be there in full USA gear.
Cool about Scott Gomez hanging at the bar.
